Small group learning is an important part of the learning process in my classroom. Being able to pull small groups of students at a time allows me to meet student needs more effectively and provide a safer invite for students to ask questions and be open about their struggles as they learn. During this time, I work closely with students to make sure they feel confident to keep their learning train moving. The donation of a kidney table to our classroom will allow a place for students grow. This table will allow students to show their work directly on a white board and map out their thinking during our lesson. Having a designated place for our small groups to meet will help reinforce their routines and keep consistency in knowing that their small group time is treasured and sacred.
