The materials on the wish list will allow students the freedom of flexible seating in their Pre-K classroom. It can be hard to focus on learning when our bodies have so much energy ready to come out. With these alternative seating options, students will be allowed to choose how they sit and all of them allow students to move in a different way while engaged in the lesson being taught. Imagine being 4 or 5 and wanting to be playing or running instead of sitting in a chair at a table learning math or writing. Our students focus better when in constant motion due to the society they are growing up in. My students will be able to enjoy learning stations while moving their core in circular motions on a wobble chair, popping the band with their feet at the bottom of their chair, or rotating side to side while on a wobble cushion all thanks to you. We appreciate you generosity and are grateful for any help you can offer with this flexible seating project!
