Our school has fantastic technology, including a wonderful 1:1 iPad implementation in TK-1st grade and 1:1 chromebooks in 2nd-6th grade. As students are creating, utilizing and expanding their learning with our technology, there is a gap in how well we can maximize our resources. Allowing students the opportunity to have comfortable, quality headphones will make such a difference in their engagement and experience with their chromebooks.
With the ability to focus on their own voice and content, student engagement and focus will soar.
Too often, students ask to remove their headphones because the earbuds they brought from home are uncomfortable or bothersome. With the lack of headphones, students are often struggling to hear and focus on their own content, rather than what their peers are working on. Quality microphones will allow them to practice their fluency and truly have a voice to show their learning.
