I am a third year teacher in a Title 1 elementary school. Having taught three different grades (5th, Kindergarten, and 2nd) in our school, I have really gotten a feel for our student population. We have students who may not always have their basic needs met at home either physically or emotionally. Many come from broken or uneducated homes with very few possessions including books or even basic school supplies. We have several students with issues that parents are not able to get under control. They need to be engaged and challenged. My goal is to make students want to come to school because they feel safe and they have fun!!!

About my class
