My students needs all of their basic school supplies to be able to succeed in the classroom. I know some of my students may not be able to get some supplies specified on the supply list, so I want to ensure my students don't feel left out by not having their materials. I am asking for pencils and erasers so we don't waste class time trying to find pencils for them to work with. I am asking for clipboards as well because I want to give my students to opportunity to move around in the classroom to do their work. As a first year teacher, I want to make sure my classroom is always supplied and ready for my students to learn. My students will use their journals on a daily basis to expand their knowledge and take notes. I am also asking for tissue boxes because winter season is coming and we know our students will eventually catch a cold. The more tissue we have, the less likely we are to spread germs.
