I am asking for funding for this project as it is beneficial for my students to have a positive learning experience. With each student having their own copy of the book, Harriet the Spy, the students will be more likely to focus on all parts of the lesson. It will also aid in the student’s reading fluency as they can point to each word read aloud by the teacher or a classmate. Reading out loud like this, in a heterogeneous group fosters the idea that we all are learning and we can succeed together, thus, creating a stronger classroom community.

About my class
