Students need a comfortable and calming space to learn. A morning meeting area will give each child their own personal space to learn and grow with each lesson. Every day in our classroom begins and ends at or meeting area. The meeting area is where we have our morning meetings, language arts, math lessons and our closing circles. The meeting area is the heart of the classroom. It’s what makes the classroom feel like ‘home’. The students learn, play learning station games, complete interactive assessments, and collaborate on the classroom rug. The classroom rug is a huge part of learning in my Second grade classroom Please help to fund this rug to so that my students can learn productively and efficiently on a clean rug.
