My smart little cookies love to read and use their imagination & thinking skills! For these little learners, their day is jam packed with learning and trying to fit it all in can be tough at times, but that's when I try to get creative and INTEGRATE! I have found that my little learners love listening and reading stories, just as much as they love questioning, thinking, creating, and problem solving. This is where I found I the perfect fit! I can take their love of ELA and Science and put it together so we don't miss a thing throughout our day! My little learners will be able to not only read some of their favorite fairytales, but we will be able to have class discussions, working on our questioning skills, speaking & listening skills, along with learning all about the settings, characters, problems & solutions of each fairytale. They will also be working on recalling the main events of each story and retelling the fairytales with their puppets. Then for the best part.... we can make these stories come to life by trying to use our critical thinking & problem solving skills to solve the conflicts that are characters faced in the stories with our STEM kits.
