I teach Technology to some of the best students in Houston! Though they we are a campus of over 80% English Language Learners and 90% low socioeconomic status, they absolutely bring so much diversity and energy to my days. Members of our student body speak a combined total of 5 different languages and represent 4 different continents. While every day is new and exciting as we tread our way through learning about technology, many while balancing new grasp of the English language, it is also at times quite a challenge. These students work so hard every day to make the academic and social gains needed not only to move through Elementary school, but on into adulthood too. I am SO proud of all they accomplish and overcome each day and know without a doubt, that I have the best class anywhere!
