Welcome to my Donors Choose teacher page! I am an 11th-12th grade English Teacher at T.C. Roberson High School in Asheville, North Carolina. In my classes we focus on the study of American Literature, British Literature, the Senior Project (a student-selected research project), and preparing for life beyond high school. I moved to Asheville as an 11th grade student. It was a life-changing experience and I decided to stay here and attend UNC Asheville. I completed a degree in Literature and 6th-12th Grade Education. While at UNCA, I student taught here at T.C. Roberson. I also work with the National Education Association (NEA) and the NC Association of Educators (NCAE) to advocate for our students and schools at the state and national level. Education is my passion and life's work. Thank you so much for supporting my students!
