Welcome to my teacher page! I am a motivated, devoted, and dedicated second grade teacher. Technology and science are two areas in education that are close to my heart. Through my experiences, I have learned that you can teach students reading and math using the sciences and technology, mainly, because this is what motivates the young minds in today's society. Typically, in my classroom there are about 20 eager second graders. Most classes are made up of heterogeneously grouped learners, meaning there are wide ranges of abilities present. Our school district is located in a small rural area in Western Pennsylvania and is considered to be a high poverty district. However, our students and teachers persevere and succeed.
