My students will be grouped by ability and then they will be able to work with the special education teacher or the general education teacher in a small group setting. This will allow students to feel confident and receive the instruction necessary. In middle school, special education students often do not like to be removed from the classroom to go with the special education teacher to work in another room. Having this table would allow students to stay in the room and work with their teacher in a small group. This table would also give my co-teacher a place in the classroom.
