My 4th grade student is a true inspiration! Despite being a double arm amputee, she always tackles any task with a smile and a big dose of determination! Writing on a flat surface is very uncomfortable and tiring for a double arm amputee. Her short arms require her to be very close to the paper and she struggles to find a position that is comfortable for her. A drafting desk will allow her to stand and to adjust the angle of her work surface. My student has tackled many challenges in her life. I would love to be able to be able to give her something that meets her needs and celebrates her perseverance! Thank you for your consideration!
