As part of the Green Team and Makerspace committee, I am always looking for new ways to incorporate new technologies and reuse materials in STEAM based projects. My students have been collecting plastic lids, ceramic tiles and marbles to create larger than life insects. These would be to decorate our outdoor classrooms. We have already purchased plywood as the base, adhesive and screws to mount the items on the boards. I would like for my students to learn how to use 3-D printing tools to construct their ideas for or insect sculptures. Mic and ink are for recording our experience and sharing it with our Green Team and community.
