These students will have a variety of diagnoses, needs, skills, strengths, and personalities. The students range in ages from 3-5. They are funny, smart, eager to learn, engaged, silly, creative, spontaneous, and more (seriously I could go on and on). It is important to remember that while playing came easy to many of us, there are kids who do not understand the function of play. Provided these materials, I will be able to teach academics and play. Difficulty with sensory processing will encompass a large amount of students in my classroom, so sensory materials are strongly needed as well. Our classroom is in a Title 1 school and budget cut state, so funds are not always readily available for the school or the parents. These materials will make such a difference for my student's and their families.
