The materials in this project would make such a difference in our classroom. Students will be using the writing utensils every day as they explore writing responses to challenging questions and digging deeper into lessons. They will use the markers to create projects in groups while they focus on building group dynamics and learning important skills such as collaboration and communication. We are currently using small hand-held pencil sharpeners that are constantly breaking pencils beyond repair and wasting precious class time. This is where the pencil sharpener comes into play! I can't begin to explain how having this pencil sharpener would save class time and frustration from my students. Their pencils get split or broken using the ones we currently have in our classroom, and I know it would be a little dream come true for them to be able to sharpen their pencils so quickly and easily!
