Motivating my kinders to learn can be tricky at times but they love to write on my huge white board. By giving each student a personal white board, marker and erase they all can write on one at the same time. We will be using the white boards to make words and show how word families work together. We will be practicing our new sight words on the boards and it will give me a quick idea of who needs more work with which words. Students in my class need different ways to learn. Paper and pencils are good for some lessons but using white boards is fun and exciting! The new materials can also be used in math when we are drawing out story problems, addition sentences or just practicing writing our numbers to 20! I guarantee that these materials will be used at least 4 times a week if not daily and will be well taken care of by my young learners.
