I teach 7th Grade Mathematics and ELA at EMES. EMES is an International Baccalaureate World School. Also, in April of 2018, EMES was named an A+ School of Excellence by the Arizona Educational Foundation. The A+ School of Excellence Program is a comprehensive school assessment program that celebrates outstanding schools and brings to light the positive stories and successes happening in public schools every day. Our students are open-minded global thinkers. They want to learn what the state requires and they want to go beyond to make connections around the world. They love learning in all subjects, but with the current struggles due to Covid, it can be challenging to reach all of our students at their level.

About my class
