For this project, students will be able to use the pencils to help them to learn how to accurately write their name and how to properly use the pencils. We use crayons to color different letters they recognize and pictures that begins with those letter sounds. This project is interesting because the students will be able to familiarize themselves with the letters of the alphabet and their original sounds. We use crayons in class for different projects and activities in class, we use many of our pencils for math projects and art projects as well. We hope that you could help make this project special. The first step into education is being able to accurately read and write. Kindergarten is where this can happen. We plan to make letter pads that we can paste on the wall to help us remember the letters of the alphabet. These pads will look identical to the lily pads you will find in the ponds, this is something I really think they will enjoy.
