I am always looking for new ways to help my students learn. I would love to be able to add some alternative seating options in my classroom this year. I have done my best to provide classroom supplies on my own but I am hoping to get some help providing flexible seating. I would like to give my students a chance to prove that they can make good choices and pick the seating where they will be the most successful. My goal is making my classroom more student centered. Each student learns in a different way and some students are simply not comfortable sitting at a desk to do their classwork. With flexible seating, my students will have a choice in their learning environment and will get to decide how they want to learn that day: on a balance ball, on a wiggle seat, on the floor with a pillow, etc. Students will be able to learn and work in a way that works best for them.
