I teach 9th, 10th, and 11th graders in Biology, Chemistry and Earth Science. A high percentage of my students are Second Language learners. Though my students are hardworking and extremely motivated to do well, they often times struggle with understanding many of the complex ideas in science. The content they must master is inundated with content-specific vocabulary and abstract concepts. For this reason, I feel my students will benefit from the following equipment this year and for years to come for hand-on experience with labs and visual demonstrations through demos.
