While our school is located in the hills and is situated in an upper middle class neighborhood. The students in our school come from various parts of the city. Those who live around the surrounding neighborhood are usually quite well off. But more than half of our students take our city's public transportation in order to attend our school. And that is probably why around half of our students qualify for the free and reduced meal program. (This is a title 1 school) Now even though our students can come from totally different socioeconomic backgrounds they are a fun and diverse group who are part of a tight knit community. Unfortunately funding has been a problem for our school. Our school doesn't even have enough textbooks for each class to have a class set. Half of our outdated computers in the computer lab are out of order. And when I took over last year, all my classroom had was an overhead projector and a broken
