We need six Chromebooks to supplement our class Chromebook cart so that we have enough for every student in my science class! Our large class sizes mean that we do not have enough Chromebooks in a standard cart to have one available for every student. In our science class, we use bluetooth enabled instruments to measure force, acceleration, and speed. Students are also able to complete reading assignments that are tailored to their specific language level, and create unique presentations for their classmates. Having one Chromebook per student allows my kids to flex their independent work muscles, and build confidence in their own abilities.
