This year, my 5th classroom has been given the opportunity to raise Rainbow Trout in our classroom. We received the trout as eggs and will release them in the Spring. These items will help bring this experience to many students with different needs that I have the privilege to serve each day. Additioinally, they will prove to be an invaluable resource as we study the freshwater ecosystem and the lifecycle of a trout. My virtual students will have the opportunity to witness the trout mature as if they were in the classroom with us! If a student must be at home for an extended period of time, they won't miss out on witnessing the growth of our classroom trout!
