My school, Pritzker College Prep, is in Hermosa, a neighborhood on the far west side of Chicago which is populated almost exclusively by Latinos. Pritzker is very reflective of the surrounding area; 97% of the student body is Latino, and 95% of the student body is on free or reduced school lunch. Our students almost exclusively come from below the poverty line. I've been at Pritzker for four years now, and the number one reason that I see myself staying for a long time to come is our students. They're some of the hardest working, most dedicated pupils I've ever had the privilege of working with. It's amazing to see the changes they go through during their four years here.
