There is nothing more exciting to me than seeing students work collaboratively to solve a problem, and the goal of my STEM classroom is to make that happen! The LEGO Early Simple Machines Sets are designed to be used with pairs of students and allow them to explore things like energy, gearing, cause and effect, balanced and unbalanced forces, and structures. Choosing to fund this project means our students will be able to "build" their understanding of the scientific world around them using objects they're already familiar with. Providing the LEGO sets will allow them to use a reusable resource that can provide learning opportunities to around 200 students for years to come!
