Using the Ozobots in the classroom will begin to give my students a better understanding of what coding is. They will be able to see how sequencing and debugging is important while writing code. These little robots will allow the students to learn about different sensors and how they effect the way computers and robots work. Introducing these to our school will give us new ways to approach learning and teaching. The Ozobots come with lesson plans online to integrate them into ELA, math, science, social studies and more. There is a community of educators sharing ideas of how to make use of the robots to influence learning in new ways. The Ozobots will help us build a STEAM area in my school and give us a tool to get everyone thinking in a new way. We will move towards hands-on learning, in new and exciting ways.
