Students need the opportunity to share what they are learning. I'm requesting a document camera, dry erase markers and erasers use with personal white boards, and an interactive response system called Plickers. I would like to give the students the opportunity to share their successes and difficulties with their classmates using a document camera. Document cameras in the classroom improve student understanding by allowing students to view other's work. I am also asking for a set of Plickers. Plickers are a classroom set of student response cards that allow the teacher to collect responses from all students and immediately see a breakdown of how many students were correct. It is a great tool for formative assessment.
