Our school has less than 350 students. However, we have a large music program. Though many of our students are financially challenged, around 80 percent of the student body participates in the music program. Participation in music increases self esteem an this has proved to translate positively into core area classes, as well! At our school, students from all levels academically, socially, and economically freely participate in our band, chorus, and general music classes. They are inspired to strive for their best and enjoy participating.
