We begin our morning with our reading workshop. Our classroom library is not as big as we would like it to be and we are running out of books to keep us engaged in our stamina building. Some of the books we currently have are falling apart. We hope to get a new classroom library and use the books for different activities aside from independent reading. Fluency, comprehension, engagement, vocabulary, and small group intervention. Help my kiddos take their love of reading home! They are allowed to take books home and return them to class to pass the love on to another student. We constantly share after our reading workshop with partners and class on what we read and build on the skill for the day.
