A school ELA Cornerstones project requires our students to research historical artifacts used during the US Colonial Period and present their findings in class. This project will help support the library's Makerspace and foster innovative curriculum collaborations between the library and the teachers in our school. At the library, students will first research artifacts used during the US colonial period and will then use the 3D Pen Printer at the Makerspace to reproduce their chosen historical item. Each student will reMake history as they present their findings and demonstrate their 3D creations to show how were historical objects used in the past. The project is a great opportunity for students to dig into history and use the Makerspace to create their own version of an historical object.
