What a better time to incorporate science, technology, engineering, and math than indoor recess? My project incorporates two technology based STEAM resources with quality board games that equate to more than just drawing or playing my exhausted selection of board games. When the weather takes a bad turn, my students deserve better! The Nintendo Labo is an inventive way that combines cardboard with a student's imagination! Utilizing the Nintendo Switch Console, The Labo Variety Kit will have students exploring inventive projects that range from robotics, music, and racing. Likewise, Minecraft and my selected board games will incorporate STEAM, strategy, wordplay, and even mindfulness as my students put their free time to productive use instead of more typical or less purposeful indoor alternatives.
