The students who will be participating in the Destination Imagination program are from the inner city of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The school population is comprised of over 95% free and reduced lunch students and many of our parents are either unemployed or under employed. Additionally, the students who take part in this program are gifted students but are not traditionally identified as such because their background knowledge is lacking and their chances to experience other enrichment programs is extremely limited.

About my class
