By moving the projector to the ceiling, the students will have more space and I as the teacher will have the freedom to move about anywhere in the classroom without interrupting the lesson. Currently, the projector is located on a cart in the middle of the students' desks in order to provide a large screen image that can be viewed by everyone. With up to 44 students in the classroom, needing to move to the middle of the classroom can be distracting.
The wireless connectivity provided by the LAN module will allow for greater student interaction and smoother transitions between activities. The students would also be able to connect their laptops directly to the projector to share work with the class. This would improve overall engagement and create a more positive working environment for the students.
New speakers will allow all of my students to stay engaged in lessons involving audio-visuals by providing. Currently, we not have speakers that can adequately produce enough sound to reach the whole classroom. Together, all these items will enhance the flow of the lessons for students and give the students a more enhanced 21st-century classroom experience.
