What can I say about my students? They are amazing, enduring bunch of Middle schoolers. They are amazing because they in spite of being nonverbal, they find ways to communicate to my team and I. They are enduring because even when most of society has wrote them off because of their diagnosis, they continue to be who they are. They have little care in the world and are a model of how I need to be. Little bothers them (outside of sensory processing) and they go with the flow. If I could be half a calm, cool, and collected as they are, I'd be alright.
