To achieve the best quality of sound, our single reed students (clarinet, saxophone) have a regular need to replace the reeds for their instruments. Because of financial restrictions, our students often do not have working reeds and are usually embarrassed to ask for assistance. This project will provide our band program with additional resources to take care of these needs for our students without any financial obligation on the student. Our students strive to achieve excellence in everything that they do. It is very rare that our students intentionally do not have working reeds for rehearsal. It is that they usually do not have extra reeds on hand. We do not want them to worry about this anymore.
