I have chosen to embrace cell phone technology such as selfies and want to use it to introduce to students to each other, writing and reflection. I am requesting a printer and paper to be able to print and post my students' first-week-of-school selfies! We will write about them and learn about each other as we do. I would like to print the selfies the students take and post them around the room, both as a way of getting to know each them and an edification of the learning environment. My hope is that this project will allow students to "show themselves" to their classmates, starting a conversation of trust that lasts all year long!
