Our high school for girls is the second oldest all girls high school in the country. It continues the 150 year rich tradition of improving the lives of those who have been marginalized by society. "She who conquers herself, conquers all" is the guiding philosophy. The students challenge themselves and each other daily to improve academically and to become better citizens and human beings. As a result the school continues its successful tradition. It is ranked among the top 5 schools in Philadelphia and has been recognized at Silver level by U.S. News & World Report, 2012-2013. 98% of the students attend college, many at top U.S. universities.
