One of the goals that I had as I began my educational career was to incorporate as much technology as possible into my classroom. It is what our students are growing up with in their everyday lives, so they should be able to use it for learning as well. I have five personal iPads that I have re-purposed for classroom use and have wonderful learning apps and materials such as Osmo. During the school day, we have Osmo Words in Guided Reading and Writing, Osmo Numbers in Guided Math, and Osmo Coding and Osmo Creative during ELC (Exploration Learning Centers) to fully engage their minds and let them explore and use their imagination. I use a variety of other apps throughout the day as well to provide my Kindergarten students with a 21st century educational experience and make school a fun, engaging place to learn.
