In art, students learn how to use different art materials and how to draw what they see. For both of these, students learn from listening to instructions and watching art demonstrations, or "art demos." This helps both auditory and visual learners before doing a project. Traditionally, students gather around a central area to watch an art demo. Unfortunately, only a few of the students are able to get in the front row for such a demo. The rest of the students are left to peer over shoulders or can't see at all. With a docucam and a projector, my students won't have to squeeze around the table and hope to get a good view of the art demonstration. Every student will be able to see the project demonstration from their seats. Every student will receive the audio and visual input they need before starting their kinesthetic learning.
