My students come from a diverse background, 58% of the population are English language learners and face many social and economic challenges; more than half of the students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. Despite this, they are enthusiastic students, full of energy, and eager to learn. Our school struggles to meet the students’ technology needs in the 21st century, allowing them to do research, create multimedia projects, and to partake in independent learning customized to their unique needs.
