My classroom is a place where students not only learn about biology but also learn about themselves, their strengths, their aspirations, and the sense of scientific curiosity that lies within each and every one of them. Moreover, it is a place where students can learn by doing. So, in order to serve my students best, I am seek to constantly try to provide them with new and relevant real-world hands-on activities and experiments. I believe that this approach works best for my students, especially since they seem to constantly crave opportunities in which they can learn by doing, or simply put, by "getting their hands wet."
