Broken reeds make playing more difficult and the day to day use of multiple students using the same reeds will wear them out more quickly as the students learn how to handle them. These reeds will help them to better produce a clear tone, keep the momentum flowing in the class room, and the students won't be disappointed by the missed opportunity to play. Right now the students share their instruments as there aren't enough for all of them to have their own. Keeping the instruments sanitized and clean will go a long way to preventing anyone from getting any of the bugs going around, will allow them to stay engaged, and prevent them from having to struggle to play or not play at all. Reeds and disinfectant will help keep students engaged and healthy during rehearsal. Please help my students to stay healthy, engaged, and playing with their peers.
