My classroom is comprised of 20 4th grade students. The students come from diverse backgrounds; 17 students are Hispanic, 1 African American, 1 White, and 1 Native American. My class is 100% free and reduced lunch and 75% migrant. Many of my students have parents working several jobs or are unemployed. This creates a difficulty in obtaining current technology. This shouldnt hinder their access, so these iPad minis will provide the access that they would not normally have.
