These materials will be used on a daily basis in my classroom by 45+ students. Flexible seating arrangements have shown to improve the education experience for those students that can not sit still at a desk all day long. This project will benefit all students, but especially the fidgety ones. The pillows, beanbags, and exercise bands will be used for group work, literacy centers, independent reading, as well as in small groups that are teacher directed. I intend to use the ottomans at my table, while the other seating options will be used in various places around the room. I have also included one class set of books of Where the Red Fern Grows that we will be able to enjoy as a Read Aloud.
