The ability to have working microscopes in a science lab is an absolute must. I have some, but the working part is a little bit sketchy. It is imperative that my students be able to see the very small things in life, and how life begins from a cellular level. We are a rural school, and will be sharing these between the middle and high school. This addition to our science lab will give a huge advantage to understanding that sometimes it is ok to "Sweat the Small Things"! The microscopes will be used to help the students have a greater understanding of cell parts, cell reproduction, and the different types of cells. In order for students to understand the major parts of life and the world around them, they must be able to understand how life works on a microscopic level also.
