My students are energetic. They live in a low income area and school is the place where they receive the greatest amount of structure. Yet despite the disadvantages they live with, they are inquisitive and eager to learn. If I could spend my whole paycheck on these kids, I would do so in heartbeat. There are things these kids need which do not fit into the budget. I can't argue with the need for more computers in every classroom because that's more important than what I'm asking for here. And the school budget should support the needs of all classrooms and students, not just mine. So, the requests found on my profile will help to make the learning that much more fun and enriching for my students.
