My class consists of students in grades three through five, who have been identified with Emotional Disabilities(ED). The students have been placed in a smaller classroom, to increase the individual support they need to be able to return to the mainstream environment. Our days are filled with teaching and modeling social skills and coping techniques that will hopefully help the students re-enter the general education environment with the right tools to succeed. My mission is to attempt to create an environment where meaningful change will occur in the lives of our students, both educationally and socially. I wok on skills in the classroom such as environmental management, behavior management, effective education, individuation and personalization, academics, and career/social/life skills.
