The use of speakers and a microphone in my humanities class, a class that ensures that instructional materials and technology meets the needs of a wide spectrum of students, would enable me and other instructors to provide immediate and quality audio to our students. It would give teachers the ability to display exemplary models, listen to multi-media presentations, and create quality audio. This technology brings clarity. In previous districts where I’ve had access to this tool, I’ve found that it has increased my efficacy as an educator as well as the efficacy of the learning process for my students. My students need this tool because it suits their abilities and learning styles, as well as accommodates for their various needs. Through purchasing this technology for my students, you will help to change their day-to-day interactions with the content of the core curriculum. You’ll be providing students with crisp audio and their instructors with a tool to provide feedback and models in an extremely quick and effective way. This is a simple accommodation that changes learning for a lot of my students.
