We are located in a community that has a diverse population. Our school consists of 90% students who receive free or reduced-priced lunches as well as 55% of our students who are bilingual. As a new teacher, I am excited to start the school year and cannot wait to provide the experience of music to all of my students. Through my student teaching experiences and the classes I taught during summer school in Beloit, Wisconsin I learned that students learn music effectively through playing and making music. My students are all eager to be engaged in music and performance. Students succeed with a differentiation in instruction and succeed in music when they are learning through performance. I love to provide more ways to provide my students ways to engage with music. Please donate so we can keep the wonder, excitement, adventure, humor, and high-quality resources available for all.
